Michael Butler
Managing Director
Michael is an experienced entrepreneur and co-founder of Envirico. His expertise spans multiple businesses and industries including agriculture, construction, commercial diving and ecology. Michael's innovative thinking and knowledge creates a culture of confidence and dedication at Envirico.
Maurice O'Connor
Senior Project Manager
Maurice holds an Honours Degree in Wildlife Biology from IT Tralee and a Masters Degree in Ecological Assessment from UCC. He is an experienced field ecologist, has carried out numerous protected species surveys including bats, birds, otters, Kerry slug and lamprey. His projects have included breeding seabird surveys on islands off the southwest coast of Ireland, upland and woodland surveys, invertebrate surveys, surveys for forestry licence applications. RHAT assessment, aquatic macroinvertebrate water quality assessments, scientific research on the impact of fire in Killarney National Park.
Thomas Sheehan
Project Ecologist
Thomas has over 10 years environmental experience and holds an MSc in Ecological Assessment from UCC. He has international experience in project, construction and logistics management and managed risk and security on multi-million euro projects including the Bini à Warak Hydroelectric Power Plant in Cameroon for Control Risks, construction in New York City and at the Atlantis Hotel in the Bahamas for the Davis Group and carried out ecological surveys on islands along the south west coast of Ireland for Envirico/NPWS.
Nicola Synott
Operations Administrator (Kilkenny)
Nicola holds a degree in agricultural science (B.Sc.Ag.). Since starting with Envirico she has worked on many different aspects of the business including invoicing, logistics for chemical control operations, writing referenced invasive species accounts for the National Biodiversity Data Centre's website. In March of this year Nicola was instrumental in achieving Envirico's accreditation to ISO 9001: 2015 & 14000:2015.
Eimear Crowley
Operations Administrator (Kerry)
Eimear carries out all administrative duties for the Envirico Kerry office and holds an Honours Bachelor of Business in Accounting (B.Bus. Accounting). She is versatile in her approach to work and often assists the ecologists by arranging logistics and providing back up in the field on various projects. Eimear was the administrator responsible for data input of all raw data collected for Envirico ecological surveys of burrow nesting breeding seabirds on islands off the southwest coast of Ireland, which was used to produce an Irish Wildlife Manual standard publication report.
